A third-generation builder and Northern Virginia native, Doug DeLuca grew up immersed in the construction business, developing an appreciation from an early age for the craftsmanship, materials, and architectural details that give a home its character.
That early foundation evolved into a lifelong passion for classic American architecture and timeless design. Doug believes the most enduring homes are not defined by passing trends, but by proportion, craftsmanship, authenticity, and the way architecture, interiors, landscape, and lifestyle come together.
A Discerning Eye for Timeless Design
A formative chapter in Doug's career came through his work with Ralph Lauren in New York, where he gained firsthand experience with one of America's most influential visions of lifestyle-driven design.
His time with Ralph Lauren deepened his understanding of timeless elegance, creating environments with a strong sense of place, and translating a distinctive aesthetic into memorable residential and commercial spaces. That experience continues to influence his approach today: homes should not simply be beautiful. They should tell a story and create an unforgettable experience for the people who live in them.

Art & Design
Doug's creative pursuits extend beyond architecture and construction into the world of art.
His artistic work includes the creation of Ralph Lauren window installations, as well as multiple corporate art installations for organizations including Ralph Lauren Corporation and Transwestern Corporation, in addition to work represented in private and corporate art collections.
His experience across architecture, interiors, construction, and art has shaped a multidisciplinary approach to design. Doug sees each environment as a composition, where architecture, furnishings, artwork, materials, light, and landscape work together to create a cohesive experience.
Service & the American Design Community
Doug has dedicated significant time to supporting organizations connected to preservation, design, community, and the stewardship of American heritage.
He has served as a board member of Arlington House at Arlington National Cemetery and Washington Animal Rescue. His professional and civic involvement has also included memberships and participation with organizations such as the U.S. Green Building Council, The Capitol Historic Society, and The Stone Institute of America, among others.
Through these affiliations and his continued support of the American design community, Doug has championed the importance of craftsmanship, historic preservation, responsible building, and the enduring value of American architectural traditions.
